Redeemer is an active participant in the Thrivent matching program. Through this program every dollar given to Redeemer earns an additional .50 from Thrivent. The matching program can be used by members and associate members of Thrivent. Thrivent is an organization that deals with insurance and investments. To be a member you would own a policy through Thrivent. To become an associate member you pay $10 and then are qualified to use the matching program.
Here are a few of the other important items to know about the matching program:

• Any member or associate member over 16 years old can participate
• Gifts of up to $600 can be made annually
• Gifts can be given to a maximum of two groups (in a given year)
• Gifts may be given in a single gift or through installments
• An additional $25 may be given by anyone who has given 25 hours of service to Redeemer
• All gifts are tax deductible

Using the matching program may seem complicated but it really isn't too difficult once you try it. Over 25 families have participated last year. If you have any questions or would like to use one of the simple giving forms please stop by the office or talk to Mr. Kuske or Pastor Pett.
